I know of many who have suffered adverse reactions and have not reported them, I therefore assume the unofficial figure to be much higher than the official one.

That is simply not what your link says, it says they have died of covid after having the jab, not as a result of having the jab. The jab has not managed to prevent them from getting covid and dying from the covid - no one suggested the jab was 100% effective.

The adverse reactions can be anything from a sore arm, to a day of work - small price to pay for a jab which gives such a high level of protection.
