Hi,

Need to replace a switch from this panel. The waste disposal switch has broken off from the front, currently held in with blu tack!

I’m trying to find one online, but not had much luck finding one that looks like an exact replacement. Any ideas where I can find a compatible one or what manufacturer I should be looking for? Or is it one of those things where it’s now obsolete and the whole panel need replaced?

Ah thanks, does looks similar - they changed the letters to lower case. Maybe the capital letters used previously were too shouty haha.

Will purchase one and see how the fitting goes.

Could be any one of many brands out there doing similar grid switches

BG
MK
Crabtree

only way (without a Bill or Invoice stating brand) to find out is to take off the cover plate {having first isolated the whole thing at the Consumer Unit} and look for the brand markings

I'd not be sure if all makes of such grid switches are dimensionally interchangeable...

Some of the regular Sparks on here will know, though.

It might be a Volex

Remove the faceplate, as suggested, once you have isolated things. Then take a photo and use Google Lens to find a like for like if you are not conformable with removing the faulty module.

Ok thanks opps, the second one you sent looks a spot on replacement to me. The panel is at my father-in-laws, so will have a look next time I’m there.
