Wow. All those promises and people STILL didn't vote for him. I think it was the 'Final say on Brexit' that did it for him. The people had already spoken and he wasn't interested. Is he still representing the Labour Party?
 
I like Jeremy Corbin I really do, I reckon I'd get along with him.

Does anyone remember the mayor of Doncaster? Bloke came in & actually attempted to carry out his election promises.

As said - they all lie and make promises to get in, when we vote, we can only vote for the least worst option - it was always thus.
There seems to be a consensus of opinion that the current system of democracy doesn't work as intended.
But those elected to represent the people disagreed with the people the last time they had an opportunity to change it.
Is that how democracies are supposed to work. Those elected make promises to get elected, which they then don't keep, and decide to keep the system that allows them to repeat their merry-go-round of promises-election-broken promises-keep the system, etc.
