Hum, so anybody with income above the pension then pays a minimum £80 in tax leaving £320 then take off the WFA leaves £20 then fuel up about 10% means they are less well off

On the subject of home ownership, probably a good thing as they aren’t a drain on the state

It depends on a persons circumstances. The triple lock has increased their income dramatically over recent years. £200 isn't a dealbreaker.
