Sabre Boiler Producing High Carbon-Monoxide Readings

No, this is a cheap landlord boiler. Pretty sure it only came with 2 years.
Think they're rebranded Vokera and I bet a pound to a penny it was drive by servicing

I am not a cheap landlord. I bought the property almost 5 years ago after it had been refurbished. This is the boiler that had beed installed as new as part of the refurbish.
I have 6 properties and all boilers that I have replaced, 4 in total have been fitted with Vaillant - my choice. Not a cheap boiler but a decent reliable brand.
All of my properties have their boiler serviced every year as part of my landlord responsibilities. I take pride in being a decent landlord and if my tenants have faults/repairs they are seen to as a matter of priority. My own house is a different matter. Jobs stay outstanding for a while before they get done.
Please don't jump to conclusions, it can be very insulting and entirely unnecessary.
An update on this.
Vokera sent an engineer out. He said, on his written report, the boiler was not faulty, there was no CO leaking whatsoever and he advised that the Angel CO detector is replaced as it was 4 years old and that the tenant was keeping near an oily space. For the life of me, I don't know where my own Gas Safe Engineer was getting those readings from. I'm not an engineer that's why I came on here asking for opinions.
Again, to the cheeky poster who suggested I was a 'cheap landlord', I supply all my tenants with CO detectors out of choice. I prefer to keep my tenants safe, and surprising as it is, it is not a legal requirement to supply CO detectors in residential properties. It is a legal requirement in House of Multiple Occupancy but not residential.

I'm afraid it's you who is jumping to conclusions - Dan was saying that the boiler is a cheap boiler aimed at bodge-it landlords (which it is); he wasn't suggesting that you were one of those landlords. It sounds like you're very conscientious and keen to get things sorted for your tenant. Maybe you need a new Gas Safe Engineer?

It's not aimed at landlords it's made specifically for a wholesaler who orders a large number re-badged each year to get a competitive price for those who simply do not have the wherewithal for a more expensive model or someone who is money conscious. Landlords often fall into this category, I would say the a large proportion do. Thank you for posting this OP. I work for the company who make the boilers for Sabre. You might like to log the service costs, visits and spares of the Vaillants against the Sabre too. You have more Vaillants for sure but more guys take the trouble to know and service them properly, not the case with the Sabre which gets cursory attention.

I think you'll find too that I was critical of the engineers, not you or the boiler. I wish all boilers had a 2 year warranty.
Apologies, I misread. I just saw the words 'cheap landlord' - which unfortunately are words that sometimes get banded around (probably because there are plenty - I just hate the thought of being tied with that brush!). Apologies again. Thanks.

Yes, I think you are right. This non-fault has now cost me almost the price of a new Sabre Boiler!

The Sabre/Vokera engineer said there was nothing wrong with the boiler just the CO levels had been set incorrectly. I don't know what that means. I also don't understand how any thing can be set wrong, when the boiler has been in place for nearly five years, serviced annually - the last service September 2015, and nothing wrong until this episode (11 and a half months after last service). This has cost me £384 and I'm not happy as I feel my own GSE should have resolved this.
I've just copied and pasted from the engineers report. Looks like he was onsite for 4 minutes! If that was the case, how can that include a Service??

Again, what is the exact model of this boiler?
99.9% it's this one. It doesn't state it on the engineers report and I have literally just moved house so all my documentation hasn't been unpacked yet.

It is a little difficult to understand but my best interpretation is that he found the readings of CO were high and reset them and they are all OK now.
He also advised you get a new CO alarm.
They will often alarm in a kitchen when the users don't open a window or door for fresh air when using a gas cooker.
