There are two cables coming into the Salus, does one connect to a fused connection unit?
Does the boiler have its own FCU?
If so have you checked the fuse for the Salus?

One connects to the heating pump switch and one to the one with loads of wires in (no idea what its called lol ) there are 2 brown and 2 blue wires going into the back of the receiver unit, i took the front off and had a look to make sure all wires were in properly (also looked to see if there was a fuse in the receiver and also the switch on the wall) and couldn’t see one in either!

The switch would normally have a fuse holder.
The thing with loads of wires in it is simply called a wiring centre! :)
Could you post a pic of the switch, and the wiring behind the Salus?

My first troubleshooting step would be to check that the heating still works.
After safely isolating the power - If you can connect the Brown wire in the COM terminal together with the Blue wire (the wire should be oversleeved in brown - its a switched live) in the NO terminal, hopefully the heating will turn on.

Hi no I've no heating atm, sorry not very ‘up’ on these things lol as far as i can see the wires are in those already…….?

They are in those.
To be clearer, connect BOTH of those wires together into ONE terminal (with the power off).
With those two wires connected together, when the power is restored, the heating should turn on.
The Salus receiver is basically a switch.
When commanded to by the thermostat, it simply connects together the wires in the NO and COM terminals.

So do you mean both blue in where the one blue is now and both brown in com?

Sorry bet you wish you hadn’t responded ‍♀️

No definitely not!
There is one brown wire in the COM terminal.
There is one blue wire in the NO terminal.
These would be connected together in the same terminal.

However, your answers so far, don't suggest much confidence when dealing with electrics. If you are not sure, it may be better for someone else to investigate.

The photo you provided for the switch, suggests there may be another switch (with fuse) elsewhere for the heating sytem.
Have you seen one anywhere else?

Ah right ok both in ‘NO’…..sorry i get it now!, been a long day, and no no other fuses at all, its the first thing i searched for as it was my first thought tbh

Hi iv done that, still no heating :( the only other thing with a fuse is the one which turns on the actual boiler and fuse is fine in that :(
OK.
That suggests that the issue may not necessarily be with the Salus receiver.
Can you cycle the heating on and off, from the EP200 programmer and see if anything happens?
