I live in a very safe low crime area, but in other areas do see houses with steel gates at windows and doors - I can imagine what it must be like for those people having to live like that, so sympathise

In Brum, it is the crims who live like that.
We've done work where they have a cage inside the front door (so anyone getting through that is penned in anyway).

That's more than personal protection for the law-abiding....

Power tools for starters

All pinchec from tradesmans vans that have been broken into

Tool. Theft from. Commercial. Vans should carry a very heavy sentence and a severe punishment

Sentences don't fit the crime

Some of it is a total disgrace Imho

U would get a bigger fine for this Covid caper than is given to some who commit a burglary
Etc or steal yer car or break into yer van and steal your tools

As for some of the vient crime murder etc

Some of em should be executed

Stuff the deterrent it's Retribution that's required

Its the ones with the vast money who are true criminals.

Retribution is what is required and that wil start with putting some on trial for there lives

Guilty verdict than they can appeal. The sentence which would take say 3 weeks max

Brixton, liverpool street, hackney, east ham, leyton, whitechapel, upton park, hounslow west, just to name a few that I visit often.
I'm sure there are many other no go areas in other parts of the country.
