When i was a kid, i was told to get to bed at 9 and when older allowed to be up at 10oclock onwards.
I hope you dont let your kids stop up after the time that this stuff is shown on tv, because that would make you in my eyes an irrisponsible parent.
Anybody who watches porn or stuff like this with their underage kids in the room ought to be locked up.

Does anyone know how much it costs to subsribe to the adult channels anyway? I went through the list of channels on my sky box this afternoon and I reckon there must be about 50 (yes, 50!) porn channels.
And I got to thinking, some people must subscribe to every single one of them... how much would that cost?! And how late would you have to stay up (oo-err!) to get your money's worth, every night of the week?!
Apparently they're not worth the bother anyway... according to my mate's wife, in her wonderful country accent, "It were rubbish, you couldn't see the men's c*cks or anything!"

aaahhh thats one of the films i went to lecister square in london to watch when i was probably about 18 but the hype was overdone

However, of those 30, only 1 was a gay one. Now surely, seeing as 1 in 10 men is meant to be gay, shouldn't have 3 gay p*rn channels? I'm outraged at this prejudice! I would suggest a new pride rally chant of "We're here, we're que*r, we too like p*rn and beer!"
Thankfully, the l*sbian community seems to be well catered for, more than half of the channels promised programming relevant to the l*sbian community throughout the evening. My hat is off to "Red Hot All Girl", their untiring attack on the barriers of prejudice and inequality is admirable, and they are showing nothing but programmes on l*sbian issues all night long!

I didn't see the programme so can't really comment on its content, but I have noticed of late that the language in the soaps is getting worse. I have recently heard bl**dy, bl**ding, bu**er and sh*t, not in themselves that bad I know. But it was on Emmerdale and the Street, which are before 8-00 pm never mind 9-00. I know these words and worse are in common usage but some people don't like it in front of their kids or indeed themselves.

Isn't it about standards ? If society exists and its standards of behaviour, education, health care ... industrial training ..... entertainment etc are lowered ... Where does that leave us ?

No its about freedom, its about the freedom to be able to watch and make your own mind up.
A hundred years ago, most families only had one bedroom, the kids probably watched and listened too their dad humping their mother a few times a week. In those days it didnt turn the kids into raving sex maniacs, or bring society down to the levels it is today. So as for seeing sex scenes and nudity on tv, thats nothing to what was seen years ago.
Basically its just about a few individuels making a lot of noise so they can impose their will over the rest of us. This item is even more ridiculas in the fact that if they didnt want their kids to see these things, it is so easily avoidable, infact i think the whole thing is totally pathetic.
I can't understand why we won't big brother to make decisions for us, we complain about the "nanny state" taking away our personal freedom and yet we seem to won't the state to decide what we watch on tv, well lets try taking on some of the responsibility ourselves, the on/off switch or even a different channel, better still read a book.
