Labour has been in power since Tony Blair. That thing you call "The Conservative Party" is actually a gang of Blairites continuing his work. We have not had true conservatism for a very long time. You are most likely a conservative at heart.

If by true conservatism you mean Thatcher, I disliked the things she did, but I loved the way she did them.

Seems the BBC have asked all Tory MP's who they will support. Looked liked some number over 150 replied I didn't add the numbers up. The beeb did point out the problems with doing this.

Sunak over 100, Boris less and Mordaunt even less. Sunak 104, Boris's not mentioned on the web 40 odd ?? and Mordaunt 21.

No info from the rest. Sounds like Mordaunt votes will go elsewhere if this is representative. She might even get strategic votes as some usually do during their elections.

The Beeb interviewed some young party members and C4 some older ones. It was interesting. Nice of them to cover both ends between them.

Boris landed an hour or so ago. Reception was rather mixed. He looks a bit of wreck.

Sunak in some respects has Boris's mandate - a very senior member of that club. Or should I say cabal.
