SLOOOWWWWWW

For what it's worth, tonight, for me, is very very slow, and occasionally normal...
Hmmm, interesting. There quite obviously is a problem somewhere.

i'm finding this a bit weird though... my internet is slow at home... and at work, and tonight, Sky wouldn't change channels, or display any info about further programs.. is the world getting clogged up with data?

And here we go again.... SLOOOWWWW!!!

It's taken me over 3 minutes to get to the point of being able to write this post! I originally suspected the Server was falling over at high usage times but it's 9.32am on a Thursday morning.... surely there can't be many on right now?

Any news Admin? This is driving us all nuts!!!

Mine keeps hanging. Sometimes it's OK but often it'll just load the header and the rest is blank. IE then hangs and I have to close IE and reopen it.

All the other sites are fine. Even sites that are open at the same time continue to function until I get a blank screen with Diynot.com, then I have to close IE for any response.

Can you let me know what browser(s) you have experienced this on, is it predominantly Internet Explorer?

Mine does exactly the same but I press F5 (refresh) and it comes up. In fact, I have to press F5 to do almost everything i.e. reply to a post, go to the next page, go to the next thread etc.
Admin: I'm using Internet Explorer

Mine's getting worse! Now when I reply to a post, it won't let me use any of the functions i.e. bold or the emoticons

use firefox
kicks IE into a cocked hat
mind i still have slow bits (i put it down to the isp)
but not as bad as you lot by the sound of it

I’ve also been having problems last couple of days; slow & sometimes it requires repeated attempts to navigate the site, often getting back message “server can’t be found” ; I’m running IE8.

It seems to have settled down on mine,I'm running IE7,mind Esther is nowhere to be seen.

I've just been trying to upload a screenshot showing the message:
Stop running this script?
A script on this page etc.......

But I couldn't upload it. The page kept freezing.

I just got that message when I clicked on Word Games in GD.
Could it be the cause of the problems we're experiencing?
The whole message reads:
A script on this page is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive.
It then gave an option to stop running the script
