Go on tell us. Whats the EU tariff and what countries have quotas?
You won't get an answer from quitters...

They just spout whatever comes into their head at any given moment!

EU Free trade Agreements

The only free trade agreements the UK has will be invalid with a 'no-deal' because they were negotiated as part of the EU!

Of course quitters believe that as of 11.01pm on the 29/03/19 all those countries will be lining up to offer the UK better deals than they have with the EU

Indeed not.

I asked Motman this three times:
tell us how much of that produce is here because of bilateral trade deals with the producing countries, and how much because of trade deals between the EU and those countries.
on what basis they would conduct that trade with businesses in these other countries?

And not just for "more", but for all and any of it?
Is there any point at all in asking you on what basis they would conduct that trade with businesses in these other countries?

And not just for "more", but for all and any of it?
He didn't even try to answer.

There has been no reply from him to which I could not listen.

You're not very good at this, are you.

EU-Japan trade

"The world's biggest such deal, it covers nearly a third of global GDP and 635 million people...
The deal's headline is about scrapping duties on 97% and 99% of Japanese and European imports respectively...
The UK's Department for International Trade has said the EU-Japan trade deal would increase UK GDP by up to £3bn "in the longer term"

Another one we'll have to re-negotiate if we crash out with a 'no deal' in less than a couple of months time...

"Japan's government has promised to negotiate an ambitious new free trade deal with London - but only once the future relationship between Britain and the EU is fixed."

Which is probably code for 'go for no-deal and Japan will let the UK stew'!

But hey ho...

WTO rules (or worse given the current trade wars that are raging) will be much better than what is effectively a massive free trade deal, won't they quitters?

Keep adding up the amounts the UK stands to lose and that £8.5bn we apparently stood to 'gain' has long become insignificant, and we are probably already into minus financial benefits territory!

The quitters are mostly aware of the disaster that no-deal would bring, but they don't care.

To avoid embarrassment, they prefer not to discuss it seriously.
