Someone is trying to start a war in the Ukraine, It's NOT Russia (edit: yes it is)

Perhaps the Israeli PM is going there to advise Putin on how to isolate and lay siege to a population  subjugate them

After all they have had years of expierence on the caper via the
West Bank

Russia to see Putin

blimey who would have thought that was the reason

jeez us his source must be on the ball :ROFLMAO:

no one else would have worked it out :ROFLMAO: with out his source

Maybe will threatening cutting Russian pork to Israel....

The Ukraine prime minister is asking for migs. Assumed to be in Poland. Some how I think it will be a no.

The bloke from Israel is offering to mediate - they have great skill in that area when it involves bombs on people who don't have any but have home made rockets.

China offering the same. They may suggest re-educating the young of ethnic groups. Ukraine does know about that. Maybe Russia doesn't.

Lovrak was on Sky and other channels, BBC I think

He said the peace meeting is going to take place today

Russia is prepared to listen to all.

He cited "collateral damaged" is inventible and "every life is precious"

He was asked many questions - it was hard to follow as translations not clear to me - one reporter was from C4 and other from France and one from China I think and a few others

The positives "I have not doubt a peaceful solution will be found"

He told reporters to go to the Donbas region

He said when russia met leaders of the west individually they were very receptive but when he met them as a group the wests tone was very different.

He kept on blaming the USA more than the west.

Bottom line and the trolls can continue to twist and post edited versions of my post.

Both sides need to meet, A-Sap
Both sides need to make concessions.
IMO, Russian forces need to leave Ukraine
but will keep Donbas region and certainly Crimea (NOT RIGHT BUT WHAT IS THE ALTERNATIVE??)
UN forces from possibly India/Pakistan need to come in around Donbas and crimea
Once we manage to stop the killing and even russian soldiers lives are important
as many have no choice but to go into the Ukraine - the killings of men, women and children,
people losingtheir lives, being injured, dible for life, losing their home, job, hospitals
etc needs to stop

MOST IMPORTANTLY - THERE IS A RISK OF A WW3 A NUCLEAR WAR THE LONGER THIS GOES ON PRIDES
NEED TO BE SWALLOWED, FIGHTING STOPS - then a longer-term soloution for all

NO ONE EVER HAS EVER MANGED TO PLEASE EVERYONE = THEREFORE WE NEED PEACE, THE CURRENT LEADER OF UKRAINE STAYS IN POWER AND ONCE WE HAVE PEACE ALL HAVE TO REVISIT THEIR ENTRHECHED VIEWS.

Never forget, the leaders and those in their circles have bunkers, food for years, medicines, firepwoer etc etc - it is us the ordinary people that will lose everyhting if nato has to go to war with Russia

STOP THIS BEFORE IT REALLY GETS OUT OF HAND

Edited to add: Possibly offer Russia some of the sanctions removed if they move out within 24 hours and then back to their bases within 48 hours or we increase sanctions = carrot and stick method

FFS STFU you stupid mooo

Quotes from a newspaper below and link near the bottom of the page. (Almost what I've been saying EG the west has been pushing evil putin into this invasion at the cost of the Ukrainian people and the west is guilty of turning Iraq/Libya etc into cesspits. Both sides are wrong and the ordinary public suffers whilst politicians the west/Russia have their bunkers)

Re Ukraine

In a country crammed with Russians, they were trying to make Russian a second-class language.

Russians who had lived there happily for decades were pressured to take Ukrainian citizenship and adopt Ukrainian versions of their Christian names.

The schools were promoting a national hero, Stepan Bandera, who Russians strongly disliked and regarded as a terrorist.

And they were teaching history which often had an anti-Russian tinge. Quite a few people told me they felt put upon by these policies. Why couldn't they just be left alone?

I tire of being told that Nato is purely defensive alliance when we know it bombed Serbia in 1999, incidentally killing civilians, when Serbia had not attacked a Nato member.

I also don't recall Libya attacking a Nato member before that 'defensive' alliance launched the air war on Tripoli which also killed civilians, children included, and turned that country into a cauldron of chaos, benefiting nobody.

And then there's the other thing that sticks in my gullet. The countries of the West have egged Ukraine on into a confrontation with Russia which has predictably ended in Putin's barbaric invasion.

But while we stand and cheer at a safe distance, the Ukrainians are the ones who get shelled, bombed, besieged and driven from their homes. Is this honourable? Does sentimental praise for their bravery make up for it?
