I can understand HMG feeling the need to support entrepeneurs, but others may need restraint.

You appeared a little 'edgy' and a tad too knowledgeable .. Hope you have not had the experience.

It was the main purpose of the new rules to make it better for small entrepreneurs, but other people are (mis)using it, hence the high numbers. In contrary with the lower numbers of entrepreneurs going into insolvency.

No, no personal experience fortunately, just 'agitated' that these figures are used to make everybody believe that things are so bad (which they ain't I strongly believe)

The social stigma ain't what it used to be. If you have no assets and owe a pile of money, sweating away honourably for years and years paying it all back could be seen as a mugs game.
