Special Character Buttons

I gathered that - it just seemed so bizarre, as special character buttons isn't a particularly contentious subject..

Thanks for the buttons, but....

Can no longer highlight a section of text and change the size.

Everything else works - bold etc, the tags for quote, images, lists etc, and colour works - but size doesn't.

Can manually type it in

Large

and it displays, but selecting via the drop down list doesn't.

Seems to have broken at the time the Special Characters were added...


Also arriving at the same time were problems with the spelling checker in the Google toolbar. It finds and highlights misspelled words as before, but if I pull the mouse pointer over any of the B, i, u .... Youtube buttons into the posting window to make corrections it stops the checker and switches off the highlighting. If I take the pointer on a detour around to the right of the buttons and into the window from the side it's fine.

Doesn't happen with other sites, and didn't happen here before the Special Characters appeared.

We're aware of the font size issue (//www.diynot.com/forums//viewtopic.php?p=1773595#1773595), and that will be sorted soon.

The Google spell check is not something we were aware of. I'll look into it and see if there's a solution.
