Right guys if we could get back on track please and drop the off-topic BS.
Scoby_Beasley & securespark If you reply I won't be able to see it as I don't wish to see that grotesque image in my thread.

To those of you who contributed in an adult fashion I thank you and will now attempt to provide further information.

Spark123 or Igifer can you further explain what a shared neutral is? (although I guess its basically what it says?)

PrenticeboyofDerry: The 1st RCD (as it says) is rated at 80A 30Ma. (that's the side the lighting is on!) The 2nd 63A 30Ma. Thanks for drawing my attention to that.

Here's a pic of the wiring to the landing light switch.

PICT1455.jpg

Leaving aside the circuit # 2 in the OP as they are all additions, the original wiring from the CSU:

Going down: 5 cables. 1 obviously cooker (6mm?) 4 x power. About twice the size of 2.5 so 4.0mm? All grey T&E

Going up: 4 x 1.5mm 1 x 4.0mm

I'll repeat the circuitry here so you don't have to keep going back 2 pages:

80A RCB

1. 40A Spare

2. 16A Hall front power socket (telephone) Garage front power socket, Garage door power.
These are all additions and are wired radially.

4. 6A Downstairs lighting + landing

5. 6A Upstairs lighting
