Spotlight

Why are you thinking of putting "spot lights" in a BEDROOM?
(In fact, why think of putting "Spotlights" anywhere (except, possibly, OUTDOORS.)?
I had thought (hoped) that we had moved away from the period where we picked up a poster for tiny misuse of terminology. I think that everyone understaood that when the OP used of the word "spotlight" he was - of course - talking about downlights and not a Super Trouper stage light.

I did post earlier that - IMO - downlights aren't most people's choice of bedroom illumination.

Yes i started at year 2. I've only been doing it for a couple of months.
The course only offered from level 2.
Year 2 and Level 2 are not the same thing.

As that appears to be the C&G2365, it's only offered as an L2 course because there is no L1 part of it. It's a 2 year foundation course for new entrants to the electrical industry.
L2 is the first year.
You would then go on to do the L3 for another year.

After that you would need to gain employment at an electrical company and work under supervision while completing the NVQ3 diploma or equivalent over the next 2 years or so, and after that the AM2 assessment.

Okay I was merely stating that the course could be 2 or 3 years. I didn't need to do the first year so mine became a 2 year course .
If you haven't got a minimum of level 3 already you need to do the 3 year course.

Anyways thanks for the clarity

Point taken regarding "spotlights" versus "downlights".

I was not trying to be critical of the terminology used by jcaan.
However, those old 50 W Halogen "downlights" (and their present day LED equivalents) were/are often inefficient in illuminating an "area".
(Your reference to "Super Trouper" is "interesting" and it is only in the last few years that I discovered what was meant by the ABBA song of that name.
The "technological" name reference previously had not been known to me!
)

Previously, I had not read your Post #4.
However, a possible need for "creating videos" did occur to me !
