STAY ALERT

I don't remember hearing anything about a mistake in counting the votes.
One side got over the 50% mark.
The other lost and are still moaning.
Surely they never played any sports.
I've never played a game that will result in me losing citizenship if the other team has more players.

It's quite obvious he means 50% of the voting public

It's quite obvious that's not what he said. Which is why I said it was presumably a mistake.

What sort of idiot would keep pretending it was true?

Oh. Ryler.

No, no.
You heard it right.
It's 50% of the population.
If you can't move your bottom and vote, it means that either way you will agree with the winner, otherwise if you wanted your voice heard you would vote.
So it is well over the 50% of the population.
Next time some sort of vote comes up, instead of munching crisps on the sofa, tell all your friends to go and vote, so then they won't have to moan.

Unless you were under 18 in 2016, then you're not a person.

Twit.

I drove around in East London today. Roads are again packed like they used to be.
People were out and about. No social distancing, no masks worn by almost everyone. Most of the ignorant lot seemed to be East Europeans walking around in groups chatting while having fags.
I seen two fighting in a field a few weeks back, there was 6 or 7 of them and two were battling away - I just kept on peddling and didn't stop to watch - there wasn't much social distancing going on....

It was all a bit surreal; beautiful peaceful blue sky morning, sky larks singing away, not a soul around, then all of a sudden in this field a mini battle taking place, a mile further on and it was back to listening to the sky larks.

never mind, those that voted to be poorer, will become poorer, sadly dragging the whole country down at the same time

also sadly they voted in a govt that is incompetent and happy to lie to the public about their policies that are killing people

Gosh, you are VERY bitter about everything to do with this government aren’t you? Some people on here with the same bitter feelings are leaving the country because of those feelings - no names of course, data protection and all that. Why don’t you consider joining them? You could be gone by June 30th. (y)

Look on the bright side, Buffoon won't be PM for ever.

Maybe not even for long.

The Cons and their supporters are turning against him as they see which way the wind is blowing.

He could claim "poor health" or "wanting to spend more time with one of his families"

Murdoch has always wanted Gove.

Even the Torygraph says:

"British exceptionalism has brought an exceptional outcome. We have both an eye-watering number of avoidable deaths and a staggering amount of avoidable economic damage. The purported trade-off between lives and jobs – always a false choice – has instead spared neither. It is the worst of both. Boris Johnson...."

No, it's still too fresh in their minds that without Boris, you'd have Steptoe running the country.

Murdoch thinks that Gove is not Steptoe.

Boris has very carefully given his top jobs to bumbling incompetents, and exposed them to public gaze so that nobody would want them to be running the country. Raab? Patel? Hancock? Rice-Pudd?

oh dear Mottie is getting all upset that the liars and cheats he voted for, turned out to be liars and cheats.

Remind me again who you voted for?
Bit like on here then. Easy to criticise but unable to give a credible alternative.
You do understand how British politics works don't you mottie? Please tell me all the smugness of 'winning' and 'you lost, get over it' has faded from your memory so quickly? Please tell me that you don't think Boris should be scrutinised or criticised, surely?

You voted for Bozza boyo - own it. Get Brexit done, lol.
