Why is your friend allowing this if it’s his business and/or in charge? Is he cruel or just doesn't have the method to do it humanely? (Neither being an excuse). I thought they were regulated by the RSPCA anyway, in this country?

Now, that's demonstrated how wild your claims really were. You attempt to accuse me of supporting inhumane treatment of animals despite overwhelming evidence that Halal meat is slaughtered humanely.

You like the woman quoted in the newspaper shown above, think that it's a case of the Muslim religion being forced on others.
There's precious little difference between normal slaughter and Halal slaughter, it's just economics and business decisions.

The Qurʼan states that the animal must be alive when it is killed. It doesn't say anything about it being conscious.
How does any other religion, or logic, differ from saying an animal must be alive before it is killed?
