Sorry I have more silly questions, I was just getting ready to tank and the silicone sealant between the shower tray and wall still feels sticky so I'm guessing hasn't fully cured. As the tape and Mapegum goes slightly onto the tray I'm guessing the sealant has to fully cure first or can I start to tank it before, it was sealed 2 nights ago.
I was also just going to ask about tools and size of the notched trowel. As I've said tiles are porcelain 600mm x 300mm was going to use 2mm spacers on wall 3mm on floor and was thinking either 8mm or 10mm notched trowel for both wall and floor, what do you think? Also is it worth buying a tile file or can a normal file be used to smooth any rough edges or make shapes, have an odd shape to cut for a tap?
