What we need is ADULT conversations about immigration. Neither of those 2 are responsible adults

Like the majority of people in Europe, Hungarians don't want large scale immigration of third worlders. Unlike most European leaders, Orban appears to resist the plan to inflict vast numbers of these people on his people. While not perfect, I would say a politician actually carrying out the wishes of his people is quite adult. Polish and Czech leaders have a similar policy to respect the wishes of the electorate and protect their safety, security and culture. Unlike our own traitor politicians who promise action to get elected but actually deliberately allow the immigration problem to get much worse. After Johnson and Truss, it appears we have no responsible adults we can rely on either. Orban outlasted all of them.

I do accept though that their population is relatively small and there is only 1 real centre of population so any immigration will appear to make big differences.

An adult conversation needs to be had though. People are not going to stop travelling to live elsewhere just because of people saying 'no more boats' for example. There needs to be sone change in worldwide policies, not just a local thing.

I believe that the wishes of the people of most countries are not to be invaded by millions of people who have everything to gain, while the indigenous populations have everything to lose. Most rational people will admit that sensible, low level immigration of people with necessary skills is desirable. Flooding countries will the world's unskilled, uneducated backwards charity cases who have their hands in the back pocket of hard-pressed taxpayers or those who commit wholesale crime would be against the wishes of most country's populations. Except the most brain dead, lefty zealots who seek anarchy and chaos under the guise of pity for the world's poor from never to be developed countries.
