no there creed is biblical, and christian, but they having problems whith peer pressure,

So qhy are you right and they're wrong ?

what religion was that then,

Seriously ? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prehistoric_religion

i told you about the parable of the wheat and tears.

And I showed you , irrevocably , that jt was bullschit .

we dont worship the same God.

Then you don't understand religion nearly as much as you think you do.

i understand that. only God can reveal himself to people,

He needs to try harder . Or perhaps he isn't there . Why should an innocent child have to suffer the torment of sexual abuse and another live free and happy ? God qould have the power to protect all , but he chooses to do nothing . He is a moral vacuum. Or a fairy tale to keep the week minded handing over their money.

BreadnButter if I may ask a question?

Now I will admit I have been a tad harsh in my questioning and can comprehend your not answering my posts.
So in order to have a conversation, a couple of questions:

Would you agree that your God created this world, as a landscape, that we as humans currently experience?
Would you agree that evil is not made by God but made by man?
Would you agree that the world of nature is a beautiful and wonderful experience?
Would you agree that in the Lords eyes "beauty is only skin deep"?
Would you agree that the nature of this world, removing mans involvement, would be more in line with Gods initial consideration of an Eden?
Would you agree that the God created nature of this world (once the skin of supposed beauty is seen through) is of a vicious, selfish and cannibalistic nature?

The above are just a few queries regarding this place of being which I would like to discuss with you! As I have stated, I do consider your God to be 'real'.

Oh and noseall....you would compare a new member who had 6 posts, including one which DID include advice on building (correct use of hewn stones ) to a member who has posted one thousand four hundred and so not really interested, posts! By the way....your one of my favorite characters. Will you be doing pantomime this year as me and the missus, along with another couple would love to book!
lmfao

Don't know. It wasn't me who attributed helpful DIY related posts to earning the right to be on GD.

My stage days are over. Sorry boyo.

i am not here to try and convert you

Then why did you start this post.

Sorry BnB, but it's quite sad (and yes, bloody annoying as well) to watch you give up the ability to think and reason for yourself, and we are wasting our time (as you are with us) in trying to get you to see sense. You manage to read the Bible, and yet refuse to see the contradictions in it. You know that God wrote the Bible, and yet can't see that a loving God wouldn't write most of the instructions to beat your slave, and kill the unbelievers, and all the other bits that were obviously written by mere men with petty attitudes. You blindly manage to automatically quote the scriptures, without thinking about what they are truly saying.

What you fail to understand, is that God loves you, but sees you as a small tiny pathetic little thing that has to do stupid things before you can realise the right way to live and behave, and that's what life and experience is all about. It's not a one chance game of win or lose the chance of getting in to heaven, it's about coming back time and time again, till you've experienced all the different lives that you can, and so have learnt to be a better person, to be able to walk in another shoes, and understand their viewpoint, to learn to be tolerant of the differences in the way that they live their life.

Jesus didn't come to save you, he came to show you a better way to live; and if he died to pay for peoples sins, what about all the sins that have been committed since them - maybe he needs to come back and do the cross bit again. For Jesus to do that, he would have taken away personal responsibility from every sinner, and that's not what this game of life is all about.

But we're not going to change, and neither are you, so again I ask, what are you doing on this site obviously pushing your ideas when no one asked you to do so.

And please have to courtesy to use the spell checker to correct your spelling mistakes.

i do know God loves me, and he loves you, and every one here, thats why he sent Jesus, to take our punishment of sin, so we could get forgiveness, you cannot get greater love than that.

Would you agree that the world of nature is a beautiful and wonderful experience?
yes, and you can see God in his creation.
and then we have sinful man that tries to destroy it.
Would you agree that in the Lords eyes "beauty is only skin deep"?
1 Samuel 16:7 But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”
Would you agree that the nature of this world, removing mans involvement, would be more in line with Gods initial consideration of an Eden?
adam and eve was banished from the garden of eden, and prevented from the tree of life,by a flaming sword. the garden of eden perished.
when man fell into sin, the earth became corrupted with him.
Would you agree that the God created nature of this world (once the skin of supposed beauty is seen through) is of a vicious, selfish and cannibalistic nature?
it is the consequence of sin.
before sin entered the world it was perfect.

Interesting dialogue so far.

If someone wants to worship any god, whatever he may be called, then that is their business. I draw the line at someone knocking on my door trying to convert me though. The Mormons walk right past my house now after their last discussion with me. And why do the Jobos insist on dragging their kids around with them? It doesn't seem fair on the kids.

I agree with Stephen Hawking. Religion is mans way of explaining why we are here.

We are biological organisms. We are walking, talking, thinking chunks of meat and when we die we are dead. No heaven, no afterlife, nowt. Just rotting pedigree chum.

I used to work with a fellow who was deeply religious. A very nice chap but deeply troubled. Religion was his way of coping. I once made the mistake of entering into (a polite) debate about god. That guy was good. He had answers for everything, quoting passages from the bible etc. It still didn't make me want to pick up a tambourine or fight a holy war. Was it Marx or Lenin said that religion was a crutch for the masses.

Me:

Religion - No

Tropical fish, beer, ladies with no clothes on (not necessarily in that order) - Yes
