the boiler technician help please

Hi

reading through the posts , i thought you might be the best one to talk to about a problem concerning a "RAVENHEAT BOILER" CSI 85T

(But anyone with info , ( chip in)

The problem is

the boiler is working fine , fires up , then about 2 mins it cuts out on the overheat light

Its the same on ch and hw

how hot is the pipe the overheat stat is sitting on?....if it's the same on both ch and hw I'd go for a faulty overheat stat.........condensing ravenheat??, what on earth posessed you???

But i will whisper this to you... "I didn,t buy one ........ I brought two"

It was the day i had my brain removed for cleaning
do not judge me too harshly .

yes i think the temp is the same on hw and ch.

Is it a modulating pump? I guess you've checked that it's running?
