The Funeral

It was nice to see so many of her 'partners in crime' there...

And looking so old too - they are soon to join her in their privatised hell !

I don't mind carrying on the whistling of Ding Dong.

But can I stop dancing yet as me legs are aching?

I would just like to thank the objectors for being relatively dignified and not protesting en masse as promised.

Thankyou.

It was appreciated.

But what powers the Eternal Flame  Sure as Hell it won`t be coal

[I seem to recall interest rates going up 5% (10 - 15) in a matter of days, so that must have been good for the 'man on the street...
It wasn`t good for us .We were nearly on the street  But as we had 2 young sprogs the LA would have had to house us . But we got through it , it was nice to have the Safety Net there if we had needed it , not much of it left now is there ?

I would just like to thank her apologists for being relatively light on the ground - not a mass gathering as promised .

Thankyou.

It was appreciated.

I don't understand. The route was crowded solidly with her supporters (those you call her 'apologists') who behaved impeccably. I believe that, in amongst them, were a very small minority who, apart from a little bit of booing and, apparently, something thrown at the horses pulling the gun carriage, were virtually unnoticeable.

I'm pleased to see that everything went so well.

Even the right wing press are talking of 'thousands', not 'tens of thousands' or 'hundreds of thousands'...

They are always quick to denegrate protests (trafalgar square on saturday was much better attended than was generally reported for example), so it appears the 'tribute' wasn't exactly a resounding success as far as numbers were concerned!

What did you expect?

You lot call me a Thatcherite, but I'd rather watch paint dry than attend her funeral.

I saw old Morrissey being interviewed on tv the other night. He was a staunch socialist and against capitalism.

He was being interviewed in his New York apartment. Strange that.

Bit like 'Lord' Kinnock. Before becoming a lord, he used to call for the abolition of the House Of Lords. Same with Prescott.

Typical socialist double standards and hypocrisy.
