Brexiteers just don't get the fact that the majority of problems in the UK are self inflicted, not imposed on us by the EU.

So for example how come we have massive tuitions fees and an education privatisation scheme whilst most of the EU does not?
And how come we have failing public services (because of outsourcing / privatisation) whilst most of the EU does not?

We have some of the worst welfare/pension benefits in the EU because unlike the UK they don't put as much emphasis on profits before people!

These are choices made by the UK government, not the EU.

As said I want a middle of the road government.

I'm with JC on the privatisation of so many of our industries. Pensions are crap. Health service is being run by overpaid under skilled idiots.

What I want more than likely is not far from what you want. It's his we are going to it to get there.

They are not all dross. The majority of the lads I've met on site are good decent people. Not always good at their job but some are.
My opinion is government the EU and the big bosses do not understand the building industry by thinking they can chuck Eastern Europe at the skills shortage we have.

I talk about the building industry as that's what I know.

Heard on the radio this morning that it is thought brexit won because a lot of Commonwealth immigrants, already here, voted leave because they resented the 'free movement' of Europeans while their ex-compatriots were not given the same rights.

Perhaps understandable but a strange situation where Britain is leaving Europe (is it?) because immigrants thought there was not enough 'free movement'.
