Because you know that if you answer you will get your butt kicked (as usual).

You just keep on waffling, and the rest of us will see you for what you are. A lefty liberal that can waffle but not answer simple questions. It's a bit pathetic really. :rolleyes:

Is that the best you can do? Resort to personal abuse?

Point proven, I think. :rolleyes: :LOL:

It's not personal abuse. I ask you a question but you dare not answer. I find that a bit pathetic to say the least.

Ask me any question and I'll give you a straight answer.

Now you offer me the same courtesy.

Answer please.

BTW Herring. Do you believe that it is right for the Roma Gypsies to arrive in the UK with families of 10 and claim benefits that they have never contributed to? If so why? If not - what do you suggest? It's all very well to talk in airy-fairy idealistic flowery speech - but what about in the real world? There are 10 million of them out there. Do you agree they should all be allowed into the UK?

Joe FFS shut up, one might read this and get the idea we are a soft touch................

We are. In Italy they were bulldozed. In France they were evicted with just enough compo to get them on the Eurostar. 10 million are on their way - thanks to the likes of RedHerring.

OK, Joe, I'll ask you a question:
Why do you attempt to create moral panic by quoting fictitous scenarios, forming hypothetical questions, and finding over-simplistic soultions?

A simplistic answer to your question, I say simplistic 'cos that's the level that you wish to persue the discussion. In reality, it's multi-faceted and complex;
If, anyone wants to enter any country with the expressed intention of abusing the system, then it's morally unjust.

But a) to my knowledge, there have been no instances of the type that you quote, b) any similar instances will not be as simplistic as you would like to think, c) while I have considered it unjust, it may not make it illegal, therefore not worthy of your persecution of innocent individuals, d) even if it were illegal on a small number of occasions, and I emphasise IF, it still would not justify your persecution of a number of individuals who may or may not be immigrants, e) even if they were immigrants they may be here completely legally, and finally f) they may have brought considerable benefit to this country and its people.

Will the last one out turn off the lights.

I can seriously see myself leaving here.
Will not be much longer when both sons are able to stand on their own two feet. A few canny investments will give them some space to play with and them i`m off.

Joe, repeatedly asking the same hypothetical question, after having been given a hypothetical answer is bordering on foolish behaviour. :rolleyes:

Answer it then.

Broken records come to mind.

As you can't or won't answer my question I'll ask a simpler one;
Why do you think it is justified to persecute innocent individuals 'cos you disagree with the political decisions made by our elected peers?

I don't. Now answer my question.

If the cap fits, Joe..... :rolleyes:

Will you have an attempt at my first question?

End of discussion I think, if the best that you can do is endless and pointless repeatedly asking a hypothetical question which has been answered hypothetically speaking.

Joe-90 kicks ass as usual. RedHerring simply cannot answer a simple question.

Let me ask you again. In your OPINION is it right that immigrants claim benefits from the British tax payer that they have never contributed to? If you think it is - then why? If the answer is yes? then is there any cap on this number? If so -what is it and how did you arrive at it?

If not - then why not?
