It doesn't look like that. if you google "libdems ban" you will see rather a lot of attempts to interfere with other peoples lawful rights. Thankfully they seem to want to appeal to fringe politics. Reminds me of...

I get three reference: listing of new fossil fuel companies, trading with new Israeli settlements, bot of which might be considered worthy by many.
And the bit about Natalie Bird suing the Lib Dems over her ban.
Hardly a lot of attempts to interfere with lawful rights.
Edit: found a couple more, the giving of live animals as prizes at funfairs, sensible by any definition.
And the banning of Conversion Therapy which is another barbaric attempt to 'cure' homosexuality, etc.
