I said that people cannot work without authority. With that authority comes payment and benefits like workers compo and public liability insurance.

And again, I ask you to
provide the evidence to say I can't work without pay in emegency situations?
He can't
He won't
Cause the evidence doesn't exist
Go back to the start of the thread and read it again. I agreed that in the case of an emergency (ie terrorist strike) that there were grounds to sign on duty. However, you would (unless you were too stupid to put in a timesheet) be paid for it.
During 7/7 bombings, are you saying that many of the doctors, nurses and ambulance drivers were off duty and didn't get paid?
Whatever are you rabbitting on about?
Let me try again:
A doctor at the hospital finished his shift and sits around eating his sandwiches. He's off duty and just about to leave when a drop-dead gorgeous twenty something comes in and asks for a 'well-woman' checkup.
Young doctor decided he would like to do said check-up so takes her into a room and examines her. She thinks that he's a bit to zealous with his examination and complains to the BMA. What would be the outcome of the complaint, Julie? Would the BMA tell her to shut the f*** up and be grateful?
Or would they advise that the Police be called for a case of sexual asault?
Well?
