Theresa May's Brexit talks with the Labour Party are a "grave mistake"

Rees yes he's Tory. Yes he opposed for valid reasons he also has a clear idea of how he would leave and feels we are being ****ed over. I get it.
So you do think that it is OK for MPs to vote against the proposed deal if there are valid reasons to do so?

I thiought you were objecting to MPs voting against the proposed deal.

If you do think that it is OK for MPs to vote against the proposed deal if there are valid reasons to do so, who do you think should be the arbiter of whether they are right in thinking that the reasons are valid?

Which majority party is blocking the brexit process currently, tell me. Go on... i am waiting.
Well the majority party, when you include the votes it bought on this specific issue, is the Conserative and Unionist party.

The 'deal' unless i am mistaken is the one the EU has offered us? I don't think it's the other way round. I stand to be corrected.
Then be corrected - it is the deal which we negotiated with them. Remember all those trips that ministers and the PM took to Brussels?

But the point of my post is Labour are opposing anything the Tories are trying to do to move this forward. That is fundamentally wrong here.
Is it wrong if they have valid reasons? Or is it only Re-smog who is allowed to vote against it for valid reasons?

Its being blocked by who you have rightly pointed out by the opposition
How can they block it when the governing party has an absolute majority?

Anyone without a brain can oppose anything. But this is causing a significant impact on our country currently, it's all about selfish gains.
But what if they are opposing it for valid reasons?

MPs are allowed to do that, right?

No i don't believe currently what May is doing is right. So my answer is NO.
But MPs who don't believe that what she is doing is right are not allowed to answer NO?

Sorry - I'm finding it difficult to see any logic in or consitency between your various positions espoused here.

if we lost the Brexit vote i would of moved on already and not had a hissy fit for the next 50years.
And you think the leading lights in your band of fellow travellers would also have done likewise? Farrago would have retired to run a country pub, and the ERG would have disbanded?

It's called Leave. Which we had a deal
[Rees] opposed for valid reasons he also has a clear idea of how he would leave and feels we are being ****ed over. I get it.

I don't have the expertise for the detail what you are asking
But when those who do have the expertise look at the detail and find it so utterly horrific that they oppose it you aren't happy.

Or is it that you aren't happy unless it's Re-smog who opposes it for valid reasons?

Bless.. Here you come like a gaggle of clucking chickens :D

Right which one is first...

It does matter because making an informed choice at the referendum on something of great importance for the future requires a very good grasp of the situation.

You have in many ways summed up the huge mistake that was made holding a binary referendum on a subject so complex.

As per my recent post, I am not a fan of the EU and I voted leave, but the alternative are just so much worse. Do you not agree?

Ah wait, why didn't Maybot listen to you lot, you obviously have a better idea, why did she actually act on the democratic decision our country made to LEAVE? She should of listened to you lot, idiots all of them!

Yes it is a binary referendum i agree, and in hindsight i still don't believe it should of been any other way, it's not like those Waitrose checkouts where you get a green coin and pop it into the most deserving charity, because that's the outcome you would get, which reads the best. We instructed the 'professionals' to leave.

OK next..

And yet the brexers can't agree among themselves where it is, or what it is.

Which option has rice-pudd voted for?

Why doesn't rice-pudd publish his own proposal? And draft a Bill for Parliament to vote on? Because he doesn't know what to do and the other brexers won't support him.

Why doesn't Buffoon Johnson? Because he is a lying idiot and has no idea what he wants except to be prime minister.

The Brexers can't agree what they want, and won't vote for any option.

No point in blaming anyone else for the brexers failure.

You my friend just peddle the same all i see is pudding buffoon brexer doesn't know don't know can't make up their minds.. in fact that's a few of you here. Just as well vynil is no longer king you'd have some nasty ruts...

OK next.. (this is fun)

Im not when in period of time -last year I guess.

I voted leave because Im not keen on the massive concentration of power that the EU has.

What changed my mind was principally:

-there is a lack of a realistic alternative.

-years of negotiations and the work from the in creating the EU has put the UK in position significant power within the EU. Being outside, or worse in the WTO we will get a poor deal. Not only that, we will get a terrible deal from the EU which will drag on for years

-the appalling dishonesty of Theresa May, blindly persuing any trick or bribe she can think to get her carp deal over the line.

Im still not keen on the EU, those at the heart are empire builders with a federal vision. But there is a growing drive amongst EU members to slow down the progress and look to reform.

On balance staying in is really the only worthwhile option. Especially given the choices:

Leave no deal: silly and wont happen

Theresa May WA: worse than existing deal

Labour customs union option: again, worse than current deal

Absolutely respect your opinion and comments here and the fact youve changed your mind and willing to point out why.

Good for you.

However. I guess i'm just a bit further on from that and am so cynical i don't accept the EU has a future. If we the UK did succeed i guess it could spell the end of the EU. But i am a born risk taker you see, i have friends who are remainers, and my god they're so safe i couldn't live like that they do, their whole lifestyle. That's diversity for you i guess. I have always pushed and taken risks, you may this is calculated suicide i understand, i dont see it that way.

Just remind us when your Brexit was supposed to happen? (this is even funnier)

Not mine buddy it's all of ours unless you're not a UK citizen? We are in this together my friend
