Given the cost of protecting the route. It would be cheaper to route cargo the long way around.

If you want to crash the world economy yes.

The additional length of passage would mean we'd run out of shipping for current trade volumes. It's a standard scenario at Dartmouth for wargaming.

That's horrendous and I haven't seen one march or protest.

These Palestinian protesters do they not give a fůçk for these people. ?
wasn't any jews involved, so looney left not interested

But we could hopefully avoid world war. Look at the hardship these poor innocent people are having in Yemen and Gaza. For us to take a but of inconvenience wouldn't be the end of the world. The opposite could.

Because you don't look or listen. And because it's far slower and less well publicised.

In the Red corner you have
Russia
China
Iran
North Korea ❤️
Syria
The rest of the Muslim world

In the Blue Corner you have
The USA
The United Kingdom
Some of the EU
Israel
Japan
South Korea
Australia
Canada
India

Pick a side as this will escalate.
Brexxers relied heavily for russsian financial and political support in the campaign, be careful what you wish for

Come off it. If 300000 marched in protest every week for Yemen. I think I'd know about it.

I'm not wishing nothing I have two young girls.
You just back up my claim in that the Russians are deeply involved in the chaos that's happening.

Russsia is emboldened by acts like brexhit that destabilise europe, and its own defence.

You missed an entire war with half a million dead. I wouldn't be relying too much on your observational skills Sherlock.

But the opposition to the war has been far lower key. As has the press coverage. You need to follow world events to be aware of it.

You been saying this for donkeys. I believe you I always have. So why did the EU became so awkward towards us.

I'm totally aware of it I have been for years. If our footballers where going out there for tournament I'd be ranting like I did with the treatment of workers in Qatar.

However I never asked why the lilly liberals or the Palestinians rights movement never gave a flyer about Yemen.

The Houthis have been at war with their own military for attacking their community.
Saudi Arabia is only involved because they fear the war may spread into Saudi Arabia.

Until now it's been nothing to do with Palestinians. The current attacks on shipping is the only connection with the Palestinians, and in support of Palestinians.
