You're being a bit optimistic! The maximum sentence they will get will be 15 years, so with 2/3rds remission plus a bit more they will be free as birds in 4 years.

Pleased to read today they had to move one of them to another prison because they uncovered a plot involving razor blades. Just hope those cons don't kill any of them, carve em up - ok, beat em up - ok, disfigure em - ok, just leave a bit for other people once they get out.

Silly me , I forgot about their human rights, due to the totally justified hatred being generated all over the country these three will probably receive plastic surgery, new identities, somewhere safe to live, dhss money forever - with the end result being - that torturing and killing this baby will be the best thing thats ever happened to them.

Which is why, I think in certain crimes - like this one - there should be a pre-trial to decide if the crime was inhuman. If the court decides it was inhuman it means the guilty are inhuman and are not entitled to their human rights.

There seems something quite perverse about people wanting to know the names of those involved. It's almost if they seek some kind of association to gain some sick kudos...

Cheers

That is quite an awful, shameless comment. Im fuming about in fact but you really are not worth it.

Now you'll know how I felt when my 11 year old daughter read your postings in the thread "Music For A Romantic Evening" before the expletives were removed!

I would say it's more a demand that they have no anonymity, rather than a thirst to know their names, per se.

Maybe they will get a good shoeing as a result of their names being known - so what, when the alternative would be for them to serve their no doubt much-commuted sentences and get on with life thereafter, unfettered by the baggage of beasting that poor child to death?

What is their sentence?
Does anyone know?

Why are their names withheld?
Does anyone know?

What will happen to them in prison?
Does anyone know?

What will happen to them after prison?
Does anyone know?

This topic appears to comprise some people speculating cynically, and then expressing outrage at their very own wild predictions. How does that approach distinguish you from baying wolves?

If you don't like the justice system, then ***ing do something about it.

Do you have any suggestions - No you don't - pointless as ever.

We deserve to pay - it's everyone's fault that these people were allowed the freedom to do what they did.

The issue isn't whether these people will re-offend - such a thing is improbable, IMHO. In the unlikely event that they survive prison with both eyes and all limbs and internal organs intact, they'll be watched forever and ever and ever by the police and social services, and will always be looking over one shoulder in fear of retribution.

Haven't followed this horrible story. Very depressing.
What will happen to the doctor who seen the child a few days before?
Some of these people should not be practising.
I had the misfortune of being seen by a foreign female doctor after an appendix operation went septic. A 4 inch gash in my side and she told me the redness was a skin rash and nothing to worry about.
Not trusting her I seen my usual doctor the next day who prescribed a hefty course of anti-biotics and in a few days the pain subsided.
