glazed tile edge?
ceramic tiles..the glaze is..."blazed" on during the mfr of the tile onto the clay biscuit,it doesnt go all the way through the biscuit,it will work its way onto the four edges of the tiles,but it looks like "paint been badly brushed onto the sides"...if you get what i mean?..

this is the same method as above...unless the glaze on this type of tiles is nearly the same colour of the body of the tile...and the egdes have been polished up once tile has been fixed.
you can get glazed bullnoses/edge tile sticks/and double out bullnoses, to match the tiles and fix these in place.
stone tiles..
these will be the same colour all the way through the tile body,so you can chamfer the tile edges around windows etc..so no trim is needed.(nicer finish this way)..
