When did you go to Cyprus? recently? i went about 25 years ago and it was great... just wondered if it's changed much?

USA - Fantastic

Cyprus - Great place and great for kids

Cairo - Pyramids and the sights in Cairo, mind boggling

Been to Cyprus 3 times in the last 10 yrs. Limassol, Paphos and Coral Bay. Great island. Last time we went, we did a trip to the north (Turkish) side of the island too. Northern Nicosia seems a bit of a let down compared to the south, but ,,, Didn't have internet on my phone until we got to the northern side. (strange)

Cairo mind boggling . Do you not mean sh#te hole of the planet.
Every wants to be your friend and give you something for free which means they want to rip you off for as much money as they can get out of you .

Got robbed by a guy with a machine gun whilst i was there call the police i hear people saying he was a feking copper.

Saw pensioners getting targeted at the sphinx taken apart from tour parties and robbed .
Sites are fantastic just a shame they where built in Egypt.

Anyone going there should be very very wary

i had a similar thing with Jamaica... they wanted to do anything for you... but you'd pay !!! be wary !

Have to agree namsag. Cairo is like a human infested rubbish tip. (at least the outskirts are. It reeks too. Cairo museum is the jewel in the crown though, specially the Tutankhamun stuff, well, only the Tutankhamun stuff. The rest is pretty plain by comparison.

100% agree with what you say about Cairo. The armed escort we had helped though.

Still loved the opportunity to see it for myself.
