Why not? The question is reasonable, given that you are saying if we leave the EU we still have to abide by their rules (as applied to EU countries) . It's obvious China (a big trading partner with the EU) doesn't. I think you can see the point being made. If we leave the EU, then we're no longer a member of the EU and so are free to make a deal with them (such as China already has) Have the EU forced China to accept changes to their banking system? I think not.
But you have. I have asked you why the EU doesn't impose it's EU rules on countries that it trades with outside the EU,,,, and all you can answer is that the Swiss Bankers accept EU rules??
