Compare the policing in Bristol when demonstrators caused criminal damage to Colsons statue, the police stood aside "so as not to inflame the situation" (cowardly ****s) and aquital of 5 defendents charged with the criminal damsge, to the policing at the recent demonstrations and sentensing where in yesterdays news a man was sent down for shouting at a police dog FFS woof woof, snowflake dog !!!

I do love it when some ridicule foreigners for their pronunciation of English, when they themselves struggle with their own mother tongue. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
I suspect foreigners speak, spell and understand the use of punctuation in English better than some English people.

It has it's adaptive aspects which people may choose to relate to sentencing. No such relationship exists. People get prosecuted or they don't. The sentence is down to a judge. If it relates to something that must be stopped eg a riot the sentencing will be severe. However they could use the charge of rioting which would make the sentencing even longer.

The fact that the policing is adaptive according to the situation is further proof that it's not 2 tier. They look for the best solution according to the situation they are trying to handle.

For instance there was a small "riot" over the weekend but 2 sides turned up so they kept them apart. It handled the situation.

In another similar situation where the counter riot group was much larger they decided to segregate in a fashion that protected the potential rioters.

In all cases if someone does break the law they are likely to be arrested. To understand that people need to know what these laws are.

All done in the name of trying to allow free speech in a civilised fashion.

It's interesting that right wangers are increasingly starting their own threads. Wanging is an increasing element of all threads, LOL Left and Right.

Learning the difference between the roles of the police/CPS and the jury might be a starting point.

were they setting fire to hotels, throwing bricks at police or looting shops?
LOL He seems to think the cps and judges are lefties. Fortunately the statue etc junkies that firde up elsewhere and came here has died out. Plus they were not riots and he wont have checked the various prosecutions either.

Or setting fire to buildings full of people.

Yeah, pulling a statue over. Much worse.

But again the arrests were afterwards. Why is that always glossed over ?

Interesting report on the far right wing aspect. So far they are having problems tying those arrested in with groups like that. I did know that the security end were involved and it seems they think that this particular group are more of a problem in the UK than they thought.
