I had to chuckle a few weeks back when a politician said we need to learn from previous models and policies around the delivery of energy. Their point was as we 'move forward' with a greener strategy, we need to ensure costs for the consumer are much more reasonable and that there isn't a near monopoly of private companies getting rich.

The average global temperature reached 17.01 degrees Celsius (62.62 degrees Fahrenheit), surpassing the August 2016 record of 16.92C (62.46F) as summer heats up across the Northern Hemisphere.

The earth's been a LOT hotter before we even existed. I wonder if Just Stop Oil would have been doing slow walk protests millions of years ago during one of these temp spikes saying 'it's all OUR fault, WE'RE to blame!!!'

Totally believe in climate change. Happening for billions of years. I would think man is probably adding to it a bit. I was reading about the end of one of the dinosaur eras where it rained for 2 million years. Now that really is extreme. Strangely no cars or coal burning going on though.
I think anyone that believes we can change much of what nature does anyway is either delusional or has an agenda.
The climate change that always happened is still happening. The fruitloops seem to think it isn't nature any more just our cars etc.
