Usual Xmas scumbags

A

Alarm

So far 3 friends have been burgled this week.
Again it is partly their fault. Harsh, yes but sorry it has to be said.
Going to the shops and leaving a window open, not locking the deadlocks on the door.
Not arming the alarm system!

Please please please think about this and stop making it easy for the scumbags.

I know just popping out for a few seconds is a pain if you have to lock everything up, but imagine if your really unlucky and they are in the house when you get back ( For the women, I`m sure most blokes would kill the baskets).
So please lock up, use the security systems you paid for.

And most of all have a Happy and safe Christmas.

I've never had a house broken into that I've alarmed. They all know yours are dummies.

If you came home and discovered an intruder, would you use physical force in any way, shape of form? Or would you just let him go and tell the police that they might be able to catch him at the next house he burgles?

I'd use as much force as the law allows.

Even for you that was low ;)

As I said, they never armed the fookin thing.
The other had an extension and had not told me about it.
Just sent the lads around now to extend the system :D

As much as the law allows. Can you use Google?

Typical, mis quote me.

I`d kick 33 kinds out of them or die trying.
And did I mention my two sets of chefs knives?
The machete, Samurai Swords?

Shuss, but the shotguns easy to get to if you know where too!

Being a pensioner I'd attack from behind with the nearest heavy object and to hell with the consequences...sod them and sod the weak crap laws we've got in this country.

you should let them carry on its there job they have families to to support and drug habits, drink problems, the fear of being locked up for a few weeks if the OAP they give a good kicking ends up dead.

In my 2 previous jobs i worked for the 2 biggest glazing/boarding/locksmithing companies in the uk, all the work was insurance based and 80% of that was burglaries. I gave them companies 10 years of my life but the 24hr call outs finally did me in.

Saw some sights too, most of the time i was the first one to arrive, police were tied up elsewhere, SOCO are usually 48hrs behind so had my fingerprints taken more times that i care to remember

Funnily enough i never attened a burglary where they had a dog, i grew up with german shepards and am now on my 3rd and i/we never got burgled, my advice is get a big dog :D

Also the run up to xmas and up until feb/march was our bussiest, burglars know the house will be full of presents, dark nights, people away at xmas parties, burglaries are rife. Also after xmas don't leave all your cardboard boxes outside, advertising to the whole world what you've been bought, old TV boxes are the worst, why advertise the fact you've just got a 50" LED tv for xmas or at anytime, keep them boxes hidden till bin day. A lot of it is common sense stuff but to leave your windows open is asking for it.
