Veritas R8 alarm two tone beep fault

The classic was the 700/800L panels the amount of time people caught the * key , then put a code in ..eg 1234 and nothing happened so they left it ….it then had chime on zones 1234 …..phone call the alarm is bleeping when I am walking around in the house ,

So pressing the note key and getting the error beep means chime is switched off?

Yes note press once …..chime noise on ….press it again ….error noise off…..press it again ….chime noise on …and so on

Think that makes much more sense.

users can do chime zones, but would need to look at user manual as to how, think it’s something like user code chime select zones and press prog.
