It is just a standard shelf item from BnQ. Pressure is not as good downstairs either and the amount of hot water we are getting before it gets cool is a worry.

get him to check in the cold storage tank in loft and look to see if any obstacle has blocked the cold outlet to the hw cyl. Could be as Bob syas and that the gate valve has not been opened fully or that it has broken internally and just seems as though it is open properly.

Could turn off gate valve run hot tap until stops, then undo bottom nut on gate valve, aim into bucket and open to see if good flow is obtained.
