Some one else pointed this out in a different way. The cabinet needs to vote to accept it the formal way of doing things.
Something related was voted on and the answer was a resounding no - that in relationship to objectives of the war. Sorry - mentioned but I have no links etc nor am I entirely clear as to what it was about.

You may have noticed they refuse to send anyone with power to the talks. They always have to report back - the US have moaned about it.

Salaam alaikum John. The Israeli cabinet agreed to the deal which was presented to Hamas, it's a war cabinet they didn't need a formal vote at that stage. Netanyahu obviously wasn't happy with it as he wants to drag things on as much as Sinwar so he made no statement about the deal.
Hamas demanded changes some of which could imply the Israeli hostages (2nd and 3rd stage) being held potentially for years. Of course Israel at that point had to say no.
Sinwar's clever, he can see it within his grasp to destroy Israel, both from within and in terms of Western support/backing. The more Palestinians dying in the meantime the stronger his position becomes, he knows this.

No they want a declared, signed up and backed permanent ceasefire. Stage 2 was ceasefire providing negotiations continue. Also all hostages at the start of stage 2.

It seems they have also illustrated a problem - an end to the Gaza embargo. Just a mutter in the news. Not impossible based on PLO arrangement but that has been abused as Israel was responsible for security. That I suspect should have been the entire area security from other external areas not raids on camps.

It's not a different deal, it's the one presented a couple of weeks ago, there haven't been any more since then, and Benny approved of it. Yes he quit because of Netanyahu, and?

Anyway, again, why are you so hell bent on keeping terrorists in power?, do you just enjoy seeing innocent civilians being killed? do you want the axis of evil (Iran, Russia, China) to preside over the Middle East and fund terrorism against the West until it's destroyed.

What motivates your love of terrorists?, I'm genuinely interested to know.

I'm sure we both agree on that. I'm also sure Israel takes steps greater than any other military in the world to do just that, unfortunately, urban warfare against combatants dressed as civilians hiding in schools and hospitals complicates things.

Twenty years ago the population of Gaza was less than a million, today it's around 2.2 million. How is that Genocide?.

The Palestinian authorities are nothing more than a group of Uncle Toms, policing their fellow Palestinians on behalf of Israel.
The Warsaw Ghetto had its own Jewish police force which administrated the ghetto under the direction of the Nazis.

The Warsaw ghetto was a holding camp for Jews prior to being sent to extermination camps where six million were executed.

Can you clarify for me that you feel the West Bank is equivalent to that?
 
Didn't it take two years of deliberate starvation before the Nazis started shipping Jews off to concentration camps?

The idea that Israel, a country founded out of guilt for allowing a genocide to happen is now itself carrying out a Genocide? That is disgusting.
