WARNING VAILLANT 837 commbi boiler

I know how frustrating a situation like this can be. I once had a troublesome boiler which no engineer could fix. As a last resort, I set fire to my house, destroying the entire contents and claimed on the insurance.

I later installed a Ferroli Syitbo x24, which I consider to be a top of the range appliance.

I don't know what all the fuss about Combi's is my own Combi has been on the wall for 4 years now, never thrown a fault code never needed topping up, it's been serviced (by me) twice - I won't mention the make suffice to say it a one of the better ones! ;)
 
Well some have tried to be constructive and helpful thank you, but in the main I find some of the replies quite disturbing, to think some of these people actually attach plug to kettle, oh hang on they fix at factory nowadays thank god and I was going to suggest this industry needs a good shake up from top to toe with new legislation.
Today I telephoned Vaillant requesting an exchange boiler and I would pay for the removal and installation costs but as I said earlier I will not hold my breath, I will put my request in writing also as a letter normally always receives a response.
I would like to say I did contact Vaillant with the initial problem but they stated the guarantee work was down to the installer who I believe has done his very best and I checked his feedback, recorded work and customer satisfaction thoroughly as my wife lost 2 friends with a faulty boiler emitting carbon dioxide in Italy, so this was paramount.
Now after listening to numpty and dumpty fighting over a boiler or its spare parts that may or may not be faulty just shows the sort of irresponsible fools that are actually out there, I am rather concerned and I am not sure regarding the law and gas appliances but is it a maximum 10 years imprisonment for a death ? well it should be a life for a life, public execution with a very slow garrotte and castration before hand to take the smile off their face and prevent them from reproducing if they escape.
I will be writing to my MP regarding the installation of domestic gas appliances.
 
Most of us bit but now I realise u r a fool, and a windup merchant as well as a liar! Vaillant would NEVER say the installer is responsible for warranty they don't want independents touching them, and now u have said u checked his feedback on sites etc I do know who ur on about an I will talk to him tomoro I am sure he will be interested in your thoughts!

Presumably the boiler was never registered with vaillant which is why they are bouncing it back to your installer. Have you tried actually asking vaillant for a fixed price repair?
You'll not get a new boiler out of them and anyway, why would you want another vaillant if they are as bad as you say they are?
 
And I almost forgot if the Vaillant 837 is so good, why only one F number, with all the problems only the low water pressure F number has appeared.

because the only fault your boiler has ever had has been a pressure fault, otherwise any one of the other 40/50+faults would have appeared.

oh and by the way WHAT WAS THE FAULTS AGAIN, sorry had to shout because you have never told us!
