Hi.
We had a blocked toilet on a recently installed new bathroom and I've been out to look at the soil pipe.
It had overflowed into the gutter. I could see that the blockage was sitting on a waste pipe that spans almost the entire width of the soil pipe. It was effectively forming a shelf for everything to get stuck on.
Surely this is wrong and the waste pipe should only stick out a little bit, if at all, inside the soil pipe?
Thanks
TG
