Wattage on the Rear of Light Switches

Have you guys ever took notice of the Wattage measurements on the Rear of domestic light switches?
I've NEVER once done it myself, but I just read it, while I was pottering about on Dr Google
Does it help you guys?... Or is it just summit that's OVERKILL

Plate switches always have current ratings and are rated at 6a or 10a and sometimes 20a, ideally they should be rated to the mcb size, but as most domestic lighting circuits are 6 amp then by default any switch is suitable.
In past days you derated a switch for certain types of load, but rarely needed nowadays.

Only ever seen wattage or VA on dimmers or specialist switches
