He bragged about a particular sensitive document, which has now disappeared. Its possible that Trump allowed someone else to see it. Someone that really shouldn't be seeing it.

Pete Buttigieg is heralded as a rising star of the Democratic party, and is tipped for high office in years to come (perhaps even the presidency).
He ran Bernie Sanders close in the New Hampshire primary, before putting his support behind Joe Biden.
Biden has since nominated Buttigieg for Secretary of Transportation.

Press reports coming out with the waffle 'could be imprisoned for up to 100 years if found guilty' even if found guilty I'd bet he'll never see the inside of a jail cell.

It looks like the main charges relate to taking nuclear secrets, sharing military attack plans, lying about whether he had the documents, trying to hide the documents, discussing the destruction of classified documents.
