Stepsons were having a race on my Scalextric tonight and the Ford GTE flew off and landed hard against a chair leg. Motor is now jammed, (suspect one of the perma magnets has become dislodged), and to get a replacement I have to send the whole set off as it's from Amazon, who don't have any in stock at the moment.
A replacement car is over £50 and the whole kit cost £200 so going down the return item route. If it had been out of warranty I would have simply bought a new motor from the local modelling shop and fitted it myself.
