Just got a few minor jobs to do in my new workshop then I'm going to plonk in front of the TV and watch the Hungarian Grand Prix highlights with a couple of bottles of Spitfire. :)

It was a good race. Good to see some of the middle teams doing so well. I would have liked to see Alonso hold Hamilton off but he certainly made him work for the position. Yet again Hamilton gets a lucky streak to get him back through the field. I think Verstappen would have given him a run for his money if his floor hadn't been damaged so badly because of Bottas' silly mistake.
 
How come no one mentions lando Norris ? Still in third doing well but not a mention!

I try to support my local pub every day. Unfortunately, I have had a fever since 3AM on Friday. Hopefully, I will be able to swing by my local tomorrow- using the pretext of returning some laptops that I repaired today.

I did take a lateral flow test on Friday evening. It showed negative. That said, when I had covid back in September (day 4 of a fever) the lateral flow test administered in hospital came back negative whereas the PCR test came back as positive.

At the time, being diagnosed with covid was a blessing. They had been treating me for suspected meningitis, that meant waking me up every 4 hours to pump IV antibiotics in to me. Once they discovered that I had covid, they were happy to release me.

Personally, I think I had food poisoning this time around.

Either way, with a temperature of up to 104 degrees Fahrenheit, I couldn't walk in a straight line anyway.

Lando is doing brilliantly but unfortunately it was him that Bottas ran into that caused all the trouble. He will be on that top podium spot before too long, I'm sure.
And a double points finish for Williams was a bonus.
