What are you watching on TV right now?

Nobody could play 'thick' quite like him. Always good value in any part he played, tv drama/comedy or Hollywood movie.

He was a master at playing those parts and the only parts I ever remember him playing, surprisingly he was in fact a very clever man - from memory, he taught English and Mathematics at a top school in Barnsley.

Really?
It's hard to imagine it's the same guy who played Heslop in Porridge.
"I read a book once," he says, "green it was."
:D

Lol. My grandad used to always be watching the wrestling on the telly. I can remember some of his favourites were Mick McManus, Big Daddy and Kendo Nagasaki. I think!

Are you my lost grandson? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Watching Calendar Girls at the moment. Easy enough to follow without having to concentrate too hard.

Yeah, that brings back memories of tea at 4pm and watching the wrestling. My grandparents never missed it. Gran's favourite was Big Daddy, and i always laughed at the antics of Catweazle. Happy days.

Watching an old Brazilian Grand Prix on Sky Sports F1. Senna won with his car stuck in top gear. Mansell broke down, parked up on the grass and legged it across the track. The car was left there until the end of the race. The tyre changes were comical too - it was taking up to 14 seconds to change a set of tyres!

After a session of who can do the best John Wayne impression last Sunday, 'the firm' sat down to watch 'True Grit' tonight.

Also downloaded "The Dropout", which I'll probably watch alone.
