Over 800 cases of Water Authorities allowing raw sewage into UK rivers last year, so yes it's another step back after years of EU regulations making the UK do something about it - but for over fifty years environmental groups have warned these measures needed to be taken yet governments kept stalling and passing the buck onto the next administration, hoping someone else would do the dirty jobs for them.
Whenever someone takes a deep breath after i quote them a price for a garden job, i'll remind them it will still need doing next year and materials won't get any cheaper. It's up to them.
Same thing for dealing with Climate Change. Our economy will have to adapt and taking steps to solve these problems will not get any cheaper by 2030.
