OK, I admit it. I'm a secondary Supersize, Superskinny watcher.
In the context of the programme, I say that "deceptively small" means "doesn't look like much but it's a lot of calories".
Same programme, different question. If there's an equivalent programme on American TV, do they show their superskinnies British examples of how they could end up?

A cheese panino (singular) is a bread roll. Sometimes used loosely to refer to a stuffed roll (more or less, a sandwich)
