What have you been doing today?

Just lazed about today finishing off the Christmas bits. I think my stomach has stretched as I’m permanently hungry. Just having a bit of supper at this time of night - what am I like.

This would make a good thread on its own. (y)

It's not been an easy year. And, worst of all, I had to all this work single-handedly. My old man has some sort of mental condition these days ( I live with my family ) and he thinks he's living in a bldy hotel. He saw me do all these tasks and didn't even lend a hand!

Had a go at washing my car today as it's not been washed for a good couple of months and I go through some quite muddy tracks. It was caked with mud. Used my new Karcher attachment - a snow foam sprayer. Froze my nuts off but managed to get it reasonably clean. Why pay those pesky foreigners £6 to clean my car when I can do it myself for £8.

Went through the company petty cash vouchers for the last financial year today and it owed me exactly £300! Stuff I’d bought out of my own pocket but hadn’t actually got round to taking. Combined with my premium bond win I've had a pretty decent day. :)

Numbering 604 lockers over 4 different floors, doing a spreadsheet of the floor and location on that floor, recording the barrel number of every lock on the same spreadsheet, (cos we know the little darlings will lose their keys sooner or later), removing the spare key and tagging it with it's locker number and location. These spare keys will be kept in the office so if they need one they will be charged for it. All proceeds from this charge will go to the schools chosen charity for this year, (not sure they have decided on which one yet). All students who require/want a locker have agreed to these conditions. As I am the only maintenance guy in for the next 3 days, and most teachers are working from home, I should be able to get a fair bit of it done before my shift turn around next week.
