What have you bought today?

Perhaps, but i work part-time around a care home and any resemblance to Darth Vader could have dire consequences for the residents.
In that case stay away from air helmets - I was forced to use one on a job due to H&S concerns over solid surface materials I was sanding out on site; I went into the project manager's office one day to find a poster-size image of yours truly wearing said black air helmet, in my usual black sweatshirt and trousers and the words "The Empire Strikes Back - Beware Darth JnK!" in bold lettering beneath...

You've got to have a sense of humour in construction

Just arrived this afternoon to replace my last one which some b'stard nicked:

Makita DGA452 Angle Grinder.jpg

Only the basic brushed motor grinder, but as a chippy I don't really need much more. Really handy for doing all sorts of rubbishy jobs, like pinging off soffit board nail heads, etc

I just ordered:
  • Easy Peasy Puppy Squeezy: The UK's No.1 Dog Training Book
  • "Artificial Turf for Dogs"
  • Harringtons Complete Dry Puppy Food
  • Barrier Fencing Mesh | 1m x 25m |
  • 10 Fencing Pins
Can you guess what we're getting?

I was over Lakeside today buying a shirt and some socks and I snagged a couple of bargains while I was over there.

I got a £30 tie for a fiver in Moss Bros. Bargain.

And a QI wireless 10,000mAh power bank for a tenner in Robert Dyas. It also has two USB outputs too. Anywhere between £20 and £35 elsewhere.

Going back over there in a minute - taking the shirt back! Double cuff but way too short in the arms - doesn't even come out of my jacket.

And the Ruskies haven't turned the tap of yet. Time to polish up your walking boots

These two items turned up, today, from different sources (one of them from the Netherlands). I obviously know what they are, but I wonder if you do?
